Pack your swimwear: The traditional Berlin “bathing spot” can be found on the eastern banks of lake Großer Wannsee, only 2.5 km from the Blumenfisch study centre.

The “Einstein Tower”, the solar observatory of the Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam, was built from 1921-24 by architect Erich Mendelsohn. It serves as a research institution and scientific and technical monument of modern physics.
